This press release announces the upcoming CBS 60 Minutes segment that will be aired on Sunday August 16, 2020. In this segment, Anderson Cooper interviews Biz Burnett, 70-year-old wife, mother of two, grandmother of nine, and Founder & CEO of Vision Funding, which, since 2015, has helped 100 nonprofits raise a total of $1.5 million.
The interview will take place and be filmed on Saturday, August 15, 2020 (Biz Burnett’s 70th birthday), in Asheville, NC, by the fountain on the front lawn of Biltmore House, built 1889-1895 by George Washington Vanderbilt II, uncle of Anderson Cooper’s mother, Gloria Vanderbilt.
Anderson Cooper’s Interview Questions:
[The questions below are a VERY rough outline of the interview. The answers, which are as yet written only in my heart/Subby, will include many references to my DMP and what I’ve learned from the MKMMA Experience.]
Who is Biz Burnett? (Please tell our viewers about your life before you became known as the “Fundraising Super-Hero.”)
How did you get started doing fundraising?
What exactly did you accomplish that earned you the title of “World’s Oldest and Most-Productive Fundraising Professional” in the Guinness Book of World Records?
When and where did you accomplish all this?
Why did you choose to become a Fundraising Professional?
Why did you give me the honor of interviewing you, and why here at Biltmore House?
[In my SITs, I’ve imagined MUCH more of this Press Release but I ran out of time to include it before the posting deadline. I look forward to amplifying this over the next week or two.]
